City Hall in Grand Island. IT LIVES!!! I guess it’s 4th time is the charm. My mom didn’t have a clock, so she didn’t know what time it was and by the time she was set up the siren activated so the windup was missed. But it works!

Hall County Government Considering Outsourcing

An interesting debate has been sparked in Hall County Government over the issue of outsourcing jobs, an idea proposed by Commissioner Ashley Bell. He would like to look at a pay-as-you-go system where the county pays a private sector company for services as needed rather than keeping on a full-time staff.

Hall County Siren #5 – Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003A (Failed to Activate)

Decided to go to Wood River to record the 1003 since I haven’t got it for a regular test since they fixed it. And it failed to activate. You can clearly hear the Model 5 on the south side of town. Siren has been reported.

The Thunderbolt 1003 at 2926 W Stolley Park Rd., Grand Island, NE in alert. Before I get bombarded with comments, yes, I know that the pitch is wavering. Please don’t comment on the wavering.
