Hall County Sports Television Features Rowing; Powerlifting; Dragonboating This week’s Hall County Sports Television Show features record breakers. Fit 2 Tri Manager Kelly Parham of Gainesville recently set a world record on the Concept 2 indoor rowing machine with a 77-hour marathon session. No stranger to endurance sports, Parham appears this week to talk about his achievement with host R. Garry Glenn. Dragonboating may be an Olympic sport not too many years from now and the Olympic venue at Clark’s Bridge has a thriving program. Veteran racer Jim O’Dell is on the show this week as well to discuss the possibility of Dragonboating being at the 2016 Rio Olympics and how local hopefuls can try it out. The Georgia IronDawgs Powerlifting team swept the team national championships in bench press and full-power this past weekend in East Peoria, Illinois. The ‘Dawgs also came away with three Best Lifter Awards, the Champion of Champions Cup and a number of national and world records. Meet highlights are featured this week, along with an interview with IronDawg Kevin Eubanks, who has made a remarkable recovery from a near fatal staph infection after major knee surgery to win a national title this past Sunday.
