The Thunderbolt 1003 at 2926 W Stolley Park Rd., Grand Island, NE in alert. Before I get bombarded with comments, yes, I know that the pitch is wavering. Please don’t comment on the wavering. If you comment, just say “great video” or something similar. My grandpa did a wonderful job of recording this.

Title pretty much says it all. This is the 3T22A at the Doniphan Fire Dept. in Doniphan, NE. Oh oh oh! Nebraska statewide tornado drill is Wednesday the 16th. Expect some awesome videos. They are sirens I’ve wanted to record for a long time but could never find out when they are tested.
Hall County Siren #6 – Federal Signal Model 5A Attack Test
Friday, August 19th, 2011
I thought I’d head out to Wood River today to record the Model 5 since last time (almost a year ago) didn’t turn out so well because the camera quit. Not only did I get a good recording of the Model 5, they also tested in attack! It appears that my county is going to start testing in attack again on the 15th. Remember, they quit doing that after having problems with the activation tones back on May 1st, 2010. So this was a pleasant surprise. I also have a special surprise coming up for the July tests. Those that know what I’m talking about, don’t ruin it.
Hall County Siren #28 – Federal Signal STH-10A

The STH-10 that is just down the street from my house at the Grand Island Veterans Home. The phone ringing was my dad calling my mom asking how the test went. He wasn’t expecting such a long wind down so he thought my mom would be done recording. The traffic noise was getting too loud to hear the rest of the wind down, but you get the point.
